Cook Assistant Long Island Head Start - Southold

Help to plan varied nutritious menus and perform other required responsibilities under the supervision of the Cook and the Center Manager. Assist in ordering food and kitchen supplies. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must demonstrate knowledge of food preparation and serving methods basic arithmetic skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Some experience in bulk cooking is required. Must fulfill NY State Health Department requirements. All employees must sign a conviction disclosure and health statement and submit to substance screening fingerprinting child abuse and maltreatment check and take a PPD Mantoux test.
