Inventory Logistics Specialist

Inventory Logistics Specialist Oversee and be responsible for all inventory located inside the restaurant on a daily bases. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Ensures compliance of employees with established security sales and record keeping procedures and practices. 2. Monitor and maintain proper store cleanliness appearance and maintenance as per company guidelines. 3. Performs physical counts (on a computer or hand held computer) 4. Maintains sanitary conditions in all food preparation areas. 5. Monitors food storage units to insure safe temperatures. 6. Receives products from vendors (on a computer or hand held computer) following correct procedures. 7. Accurately records (on a computer or hand held computer) bad merchandise per company policy. 8. Complies with food and store safety programs and behaviors to minimize employee injury including proper handling procedures and temperature requirements. 9. Follows company dress code standards as specified for food service personnel. 10. Assists in maintaining store equipment preventive maintenance cleaning etc. CRITICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Pull out of date stock rotate stock and insure product or material does not run out. 2. Perform several inventories every day at the stores 3. Perform all other duties as required. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and or ability required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. REASONING ABILITY 1. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. 2. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. LANGUAGE SKILLS 1. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. 2. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 3. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
