Disabled Couple Needs Dependable Car

Hello We are a disabled couple living in Owensboro KY. I did work for a long time as a medical assistant but was forced to stop working due to severe medical condition which required 3 major surgeries. We are having an extremely difficult time getting around to just grocery shop & go to doctor appointments etc. We live in the only place we could find that was workable in our budget which is strictly disability now. The house is almost 8 blocks from the city bus & it is impossible for my husband to walk that far because of a serious issue with his hips. I walk with a small rolling wire cart to the bus to go get groceries & then back from busline. This walk takes me 40 minutes because of my own medical problems. I have severe osteoporosis & in 2009 1 2 my spine was removed & replaced with cadaver bone & surgical steel. I almost died at that time & my health keeps getting worse. I know that I cannot continue to do this on a regular basis to get food in the house especially when it gets cold out again so I am asking for help. I don t know what else to do at this point. We are trying as best as we can to maintain ourselves to the best of our ability but sometimes people need a hand up. I pray each day that somebody out there will have it in their ability to do so & will find our ad & be led to help us out. We have enough in our small budget that we can work out basic insurance & a little gas for necessary trips but there is just not enough to save enough to get a car. We have been looking for a year now & we saw 2 cars under 1000 but they were really falling apart & had so many problems we would have just buying more financial trouble. The only cars we have found that were dependable have been in the 3800 - 5000 range there is no way we can pay that to anyone. We really need help from somebody. Please help out if you are able at all I know God will bless you abundantly if you do. If you have an extra vehicle which drives dependably that you can either donate (you would get a major tax break for doing that) or allow us to make low payments on it PLEASE call us... Even if you can t help in this way we also have a fundraiser going for this purpose as well...
