Former Fountain Valley Councilman Larry Crandall resorted to the race card this week in going after leading City Council candidate Tom Nguyen. Crandall noted in a phone conversation with Nguyen that Fountain Valley isn t Westminster when Crandall was complaining about Nguyen s signsCrandall called one of this year s City Council candidates Tom Nguyen this week. Crandall wanted to give Nguyen his personal advice. Crandall told Nguyen that he sees too many of our campaign signs and he suggested that Nguyen in particular shouldn t put up any more signs.Crandall didn t stop there. He went on to say that he was going to call for a Special City Council meeting immediately to make a new law ordinance to limit campaign signs right away.According to Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
