IT Manager

The Information Technology (IT) Manager is responsible for managing the IT functions for The Arc of Anchorage. The IT Manager ensures the quality and performance of IT by managing IT communications between The Arc and the IT outsource vendors partners and internal departments. This includes but is not limited to having a base understanding of knowledge of the LAN Wi-Fi server hardware software components protocols monitoring tools Internet and IT security The IT Manager provides proactive technical administration planning coordination and technical documentation for systems and is overall responsible for end-user support system performance and productivity. Education Experience Preferred Lead or supervisory experience IT background that includes web interface experience application troubleshooting and system monitoring. Required Bachelor s degree in information technology systems or related area. Must have a 5 or more years experience in a production system or end-user support environment and or diverse business experience preferably with telecommunications or IT background that includes skill sets such as web interface experience application troubleshooting. Must be able to provide current TB vaccination health screening must be able to pass a background check
