ActivStyle is a rapidly growing medical supply company in NE Minneapolis looking for a HME Reimbursement Specialist to join our Reimbursement Services team. The HME Reimbursement Specialist is responsible for the collection and follow-up of outstanding accounts on the aged trial balance. Responsibilities Work denials and process denied claims Identify and resolve denial trends Work monthly Aged Trial Balance Reports and research and resolve receivables not paid in a timely manner Responsible for working knowledge of medical policies documentation requirements timely filing appeals process and rules and regulations for government and other third party payers Respond to billing and insurance questions form internal team members as well as payers and patients Update patient information Maintain accurate and complete records concerning account activity Perform duties and responsibilities in compliance with all State Federal and Company policies Communicate problems and concerns with supervisor manager which may lead to inaccurate or untimely completion of reimbursement Perform other A R duties as requested by the Accounts Receivable Supervisor Qualifications Knowledge of reimbursement and compliance regulations for third party payers Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions Ability to organize prioritize and function in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently with minimal supervisor Good computer skills Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and strong interpersonal skills Education and Experience High school or equivalent graduate but prefer Associates degree in accounting or business 3-5 years experience in medical billing and or accounts receivable work Apply online at activstyle-openhire.silkroad.com epostings submit.cfm fuseaction app.dspjob& jobid 190& company_id 16910& jobboardid 201
