Do you want to help support a good local cause but haven t had the time to volunteer Revitalize Humboldt is a new program offered through The Other Side of the Fence a local Humboldt County charity. Services under this program help improve or modernize homes or offices and include but are not limited to GENERAL YARD WORK and LANDSCAPING MOLD REMOVAL and WATER DAMAGE REPAIR to buildings ROOFING FLOORING PAINTING SANDING. Some Services may need a landowners signature. Most of our services start at a base rate of 45 per hour per worker. Our already low rates are for everyone however if you still need help paying you may qualify for a partial grant or loan. This community outreach program offers low-cost services to help beautify our community in order to combat community deterioration prevent criminal activity encourage community engagement and provide needed employment opportunities in our local area. As we look around our community we see homes that used to be vibrant are now overgrown with weeds and simple repairs have been left untouched. This community outreach program provides relief to the poor disabled and elderly through community service projects under the supervision of local licensed contractors who volunteer a portion of their time and expertise when needed. As our program expands we will be advancing equal job opportunities by hiring locals who cannot find work due to discrimination. Two of the major goals of Revitalize Humboldt are to help assure that senior citizens and persons with disabilities live in dwellings free of safety hazards and to stimulate our economy by providing financial assistance in the form of partial grants and loans for services to businesses and low income individuals which are not available through normal commercial sources in order to allow them to use their income on economic growth or other important things. The proceeds from this program also help fund our WORKSHOPS which provide animal therapy help children struggling in school and aim to keep homeless pets out of shelters. For a loan with no interest You must meet low income standards or have a hardship which prevents you from paying upfront. Small business partial grant If the business is nonprofit or educational the business qualifies for a partial grant of services with the remainder of the amount due in the form of a loan. Small business loan with no interest If you qualify as a small business and need a loan for our services you qualify.
