Production

Perform required tasks in support of inkjet manufacturing. PRIMARY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES Must care about the Company Mission. Perform tasks under close supervision. Must be able to read write and comprehend Basic English. Required to follow verbal and written instructions. Understand the foundation of lean principles. Trained in root cause analysis. Trained in component identification and functionality. Demonstrate and follow printer cartridge handling techniques as trained and instructed. Follow tray orientation requirements. Understand and demonstrate general safety requirements. Understand hazardous communication. Understand and demonstrate proper lifting techniques. Understand and practice sound ergonomics. Prepare printer cartridge for re-manufacturing process. Visually inspect printer cartridge and components for nonconformance. Qualified to operate machinery or perform assigned task. Responsible to meet production and quality standards. Legibly record production numbers for management reporting. Required flexibility willingness to cross train and work on various product lines. Work successfully in a team environment. Ensure safety and housekeeping practices are followed. Must comply with all Company policies and procedures. Care for Company assets. Perform duties as assigned. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION EXPERIENCE No prior experience or training. Must be able to use a calculator and stop watch. Skills The ability to stay focused and has an attention to detail. To care about accuracy in a fast paced automated production environment. Must possess good memory skills and the ability to retain information and recall when needed. MENTAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS LANGUAGE SKILLS MINIMUM skills - Ability to read and interpret company documents such as safety rules standard operating procedures and maintenance instructions. The ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions print and clearly speak in complete sentences. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS MINIMUM skills - Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10 s and 100 s and the ability to calculate percentages. Ability to perform these operations using weights and measurements using American measurement and metrics system. REASONING ABILITY MINIMUM skills - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY Regularly stands and walks. Regularly use hands to finger handle or feel. Regularly reach with hands and arms. Frequently stoop kneel crouch or crawl. Regularly talk or hear. LIFTS WEIGHTS OR EXERTS FORCE Regularly lifts up to 25 lbs VISION REQUIREMENTS Regularly requires close vision (The ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less) peripheral vision (The ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes remain fixed on a given point) depth perception (Three-dimensional vision the ability to judge distances and spatial relationships to see objects where and as they actually are) ability to adjust focus (The ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus. This is required when doing close work at varying distances from the eye). Prefer distance vision (The ability to see clearly at 20 feet or more) color vision (the ability to identify and distinguish colors). ENVIRONMENTAL Regularly work in wet or humid conditions (non-weather) and work near moving mechanical parts. Regularly works around acceptable levels of fumes or airborne particles and or toxic or caustic chemicals. Regularly exposed to vibration.
