Admin Accounting (Palm Springs and Ontario Area ) compensation Compensation 10-15 per hour DOE Small health-related manufacturing company s home office seeks a very skilled office Administrator - Accountant. If you don t have office and or business experience and are not passionate about your work please don t waste your time an applying. We have two offices approx. 1 hours drive apart. Our Desert location is where training will begin and by winter we will be using the Ontario location as well. This job includes Placing orders Invoicing Receiving payments Bank deposits Mail retrieval Answering multiple phone lines Handling internet sales Phone Orders Customer service Some human resource duties (helping with new hires calculating hours worked paycheck details) Collections Commissions for sales representatives Working with the Operations Manager to ensure Sales Rep order accuracy Working with the Warehouse Manager to ensure order shipment accuracy UPS FedEx shipping for small items Paying bills and mailing payments Office duties etc. You MUST be a seasoned pro on Outlook Excel Word Peachtree or QuickBooks. You must be detailed oriented. You must catch the mistakes others make. We depend on the person in this role to keep everything organized and flowing. You must be extremely organized and able to help prioritize this huge workload. You must be willing to enjoy your work and have fun with the rest of us. Please be smart fast and motivated. It may be overwhelming at first but the owner is very relaxed and easy to get along with - you can even wear jeans in the office since it s behind the scenes work. We are looking for SEASONED professionals to apply who have held the position of office manager before. You will need to prove this with a resume and referrals.
