Coral Gables private residence seeks an experienced self-motivated housekeeper cook for smooth operation of the residence and exceptional service to family and guests. Must have excellent references be reasonably fluent in English (Spanish a plus) and be able to drive. This is a full time live-in (or possibly live-out) position. Responsibilities will include but not limited to Oversee and participate in all aspects of high standard housekeeping Coordinate and supervise one additional household staff with the understanding each of you will work about 36 hours per week Oversee and participate in laundry and ironing of clothing and linens caring for fine garments travel packing unpacking etc. Handle household organization (closets pantries cabinets etc.) Prepare and serve meals Assist with household event planning and execution Plan purchase and handle household inventories -- grocery shopping household and personal procurement Care for crystal silver china fine art antiques furniture and surfaces Run errands airport pick-up delivery fulfill other personal requests as needed Assist with administrative duties related to household expenses calls deliveries messages Daily presence required flexibility to work overtime or weekends is necessary Job Requirements Hands-on with high energy good attitude and strong work ethic and initiative Legally able to work in the United States proof required Minimum five years related work experience in a private residence or high-end hotel (hospitality) Excellent references required from current and previous employers Experience supervising staff Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent culinary skills Valid driver s license with clean record Comfortable wearing a household uniform when required Exceptional organizational and time-management skills Strong communication skills reasonably good English (Spanish a plus) Additional Requirements Non-smoker
