JOB TITLE RECEPTIONIST DEPARTMENT RESIDENT SERVICES REPORT TO RESIDENT SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR FLSA STATUS NON - EXEMPT SUMMARY Under general supervision the Receptionist performs receptionist duties and provides clerical support. They are responsible for maintaining a welcoming and safe environment for all residents and guests. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Greets visitors and provides assistance as needed. Answers and screens all telephone calls takes messages and distributes them as necessary. Maintains guest deliveries emergency personnel and all incoming and outgoing residents on a daily log. Copies files types and assembles and distributes various forms and packets. Maintains and updates various forms reports directories and databases for all departments. Sorts and distributes mail Takes care of bank deposits and check cashing Handles resident family and staff questions and concerns and escalates as necessary Performs other duties as assigned. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Adheres to the policies and procedures of Our House Inc. Maintains strict confidentiality of client and personnel information Demonstrates a strong commitment to the mission and values of Our House Inc. Adheres to agency s attendance standards MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or equivalent is required Micorsoft Office experience is required Must be available to work evenings weekends and holidays Excellent organizational communications and interpersonal skills required. Must have the ability to use good judgment and maintain strict confidentiality No felonies May be subject to repetitive motion such as typing data entry and vision to monitor May be exposed to infectious illness May be exposed to aggressive residents May be required to covers shifts other than regularly scheduled shift. May be subject to bending reaching kneeling squatting pushing pulling and lifting up to 50 pounds
