Experience Hoyer lift Oxygen administration Medication administration Turning and repositioning bed bound patients Personal Care Help clients with bathing dressing toileting and grooming. Prepare serve meals and assist patients with eating if necessary. Able to take patient to doctor dental and hair appointments if necessary. Assist with shopping (if patient is able to go) Willing to pick up prescription medications. Keep medication refills up to date. Basic Health Care Change bandages or other dressings and apply treatments such as liniment and alcohol rubs. Medical Care Administer prescribed oral medications and checks vital signs of the patient including temperature pulse respiration rate and blood pressure. Housekeeping Willing to do basic housekeeping duties including changing bed linens laundry and light cleaning. Socialization Provide a social avenue for their clients. Converse and watch television with them and may read aloud. Record Keeping Maintain records of the patient s condition progress and difficulties to keep case managers family informed.
