I am certified and have taught both general education and special needs students. I am also a caregiver and will provide your child with a safe fun interactive enviornment while keeping their needs as the top priority. I have ten years experience and a plethora of qualifications that aid in my ability to meet the individual needs of each student. In addition to full time teaching I have been tutoring both accelerated and low functioning children. This position afforded me the opportunity to have direct interaction with diverse population of students therefore enabling me to foster my skills and knowledge as an educator. I have developed alternative modes of curricular organization and have had success with students by creating varied but relatable activities lessons problem solving and project methods. In order to develop their intellectual and personal potentialities of the child to their fullest extent I utilize cognitive materials designed to cultivate rationality. This will allow the student to use symbolic patterns of thought and communication for each subject matter. My ability to provide several learning paths in conjunction with the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards ensures academic achievements in each of the subject areas. I am an accomplished educator who has demonstrated the ability to teach motivate and direct students using my knowledge of current research and theory instructional program. Skilled in selecting and adapting superlative teaching materials in order to meet the needs of each student in their academic journey.
