Responsibilities will include dropping off and picking up equipment for customers operating heavy construction equipment such as manual transmission semi-trucks and trailers ( rollbacks or dovetails )consistent with DOT classification CDL-A maintaining a driver log and suggesting additional equipment and supplies as customers may need. Drivers must also be able to operate boom trucks and cranes in accordance with manufacturer specifications. To be qualified for this position the ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of trench safety construction equipment and safe driving procedures maintain a clean driving record and should possess a diligent attention to safety. A valid Class A CDL driver s license is required and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
