Responsibilities include As a member of the Financial Applications Business Support team the Sr. Manager Oracle Reporting Applications Business Support will play a key role in providing functional and technical support for MI s Oracle Business Intelligence tools (including Hyperion Essbase Hyperion Financial Reports SmartView and OBIEE Interactive Dashboards). She he will manage a team of business professionals responsible for providing recurring and non-recurring application support services troubleshooting and helping to resolve application and process issues impacting the business providing report query cube and dashboard design development testing implementation maintenance and analysis guidance and support and playing a key role in events which require changes to the application. Find Your World at Marriott.CANDIDATE PROFILEKey Talents and Experience Minimum 6 years financial accounting management and or financial applications management experience. Minimum of 2 years experience in a management role supervising others in a complex service-intensive deadline-driven environment. Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence tools (including Hyperion Essbase Hyperion Financial Reports SmartView and OBIEE Interactive Dashboards) required. Experience with PeopleSoft EPM application and Marriott s applications instance preferred. Knowledge of generally accepted finance and accounting policies principles and controls. Solid qualitative and quantitative analytical skills ability to take large volumes of complex information and present it in a clear and concise manner. Operates with a collaborative mindset to ensure that key stakeholders are considered eliminating the need for dup licate systems builds strong relationships to leverage information and insights to anticipate and respond to project risks communicates well with project and other leaders openly shares and does not withhold information.
