Electrical & Systems Engineer - Job ID 2229Position Overview Reporting to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager this position will be responsible for the design engineering and project management (support or lead) for assigned electrical systems projects.Responsibilities Duties include Management of contractors and leading in the development of the engineering and maintenance systems to support a world class manufacturing facility. Coordinate with customers to obtain and develop engineering projectsPrepare proposals and engineering estimatesPlan schedules design task and project executionPrepare project scoping documents and capital cost estimatesPrepare engineering reportsRequirementsThe successful candidates possess an Electrical Engineering Degree and are eligible for certification as a Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan with three or more years of engineering experience in a pulp mill or similar industrial setting. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills be self-managing with the ability and desire to work interdependently with others. Familiarity with PLCs software systems DCS and power systems engineering are highly desirable. Candidates must also possess design engineering experience and project management experience and knowledge.
