Direct Support Professional Direct care - up to 40 hours a week no more than 8 hours a day Agency Description Kaleidoscope Family Solutions Inc. supports adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their home and community. Our goal is to promote self-respect and stability which allows each individual to know they deserve consistent support in the least restrictive means and to encourage choice in their day to day lives. Supporting individuals learn maintain or improve skills through their participation in a variety of activities of everyday life. Engage in activities with the individuals to allow them to live in the community to live more independently or to be more productive and participatory in community life. Submit accurate completed progress notes weekly for every session worked with individual. Attend monthly face-to-face supervision in order to align with best clinical practices. Attend the annual service planning meetings for each individual supported. Complete necessary training based on the ISP of each individual. Requirements Minimum high school diploma or GED A valid drivers license with no criminal charges (ie-DUI) and a working vehicle Preferred but not a requirement for position Experience working with individuals with autism and or intellectual disabilities self injurious behaviors aggression and utilizing ABA.
