The JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa located at 5402 E. Lincoln Dr Scottsdale AZ 85253 is currently hiring a Groundskeeper II.Responsibilities include Perform daily course set-up functions (e.g. changing cups). Maintain turf including performing cultural practices (e.g. topdress). Maintain bunker areas. Haul materials and remove debris using dump trucks and other machinery. Mow grass using a riding or walk-behind mower. Trim and edge grass in areas that mowers cannot reach. Operate chainsaw to cut tr ees and or tree limbs. Install new flowers bulbs grass trees and shrubs. Install maintain and operate irrigation systems. Operate tractors trucks or utility vehicles to transport equipment and supplies. Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance. Serve as a role model. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures report defective equipment accidents injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional maintain confidentiality of proprietary information protect company assets. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others support team to reach common goals. Reach overhead and below the knees including bending twisting pulling and stooping. Stand sit or walk for an extended period of time. Grasp turn and manipulate objects of varying si ze and weight. Visually inspect tools equipment or machines. Move over sloping uneven or slippery surfaces. Move up and down ladders stairs and or service ramps. Move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
