Your goal will be to minimizes eliminate unplanned infrastructure and building systems down time. You will be responsible for managing maintenance service and repair in the areas of plumbing carpentry electrical and general maintenance (excludes power plant operations.) You will also be responsible for the management of construction project modifications and may be involved in projects and operations of other off site facilities. Responsibilities Facilities Management Function to include Maintains inventory to ensure adequate materials for Preventive Maintenance Work Orders. Evaluates equipment systems for condition and obsolescence. Recommends budget strategies for replacement. Participates in Life Cycle Analysis of assigned equipment. Review contractor time labor & materials vouchers for accuracy and processes them for payment. Develops project scopes budgets and schedules. Makes recommendations to construction department on standards and appropriate equipment area usage. Reads and evaluates blue prints and specification to cost quality and constructability impacts. Acts as Safety Officer Obtains and posts required licenses and permits for operating facility equipment. Responsible for telephone inquiries and travels to site depending on issue. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 3-5 years Facilities Maintenance Must have a clean driving record Worked in a hospital as a facilities manager and safety officer
