Vintage classic high end AMC era Jeep Wagoneer. After introducing the Cherokee AMC moved the Wagoneer upmarket. The Limited was more luxuriously equipped than the earlier Super Wagoneer It offered Quadra-Trac power disk brakes air conditioning power-adjustable bucket seats power door locks power windows tilt steering wheel cruise control leather upholstery plush carpeting AM FM CB radio leather-wrapped steering wheel roof rack forged aluminum wheels and wood grain trim on the body sides. The Limited was a high-level specification Wagoneer produced in through to 1979. We believe this model is a 1978. Chrome work and metal is in excellent condition with practically no corrosion due to the weather conditions (very dry and high elevation). The paintwork has suffered as has the wood effect transfers mainly due to sun damage. The interior trim is all original. There is some damage to the leather (rips in back seats etc) however most of the leather work is in good shape and could be restored. Sold without engine gearbox and transfer case. However the gearbox and transfer case could be provided separately and fully reconditioned at additional cost. This is a solid start for a beautiful restoration project or and excellent source of parts for some one already restoring a similar model.
