It was originally locked to Videotron - QC exclusive carrier in Canada. I got it unlocked for Fido but it MAY BE a compatibility issue It may be defective or have an LCD problem But the overall cosmetic condition is flawless. I would list it as like new. I just want to make sure I make all of my money back that I originally spent on it including the unlock code and enough to cover postage shipping. It took 2 tries the 1st one didn t work and refunded me. The 2nd one was more expensive and took a few days. It might even be a bugged code that causes the phone to be defective Not entirely sure considering it already had an issue with blacking out BEFORE I inserted a sim card but it does turn on and you can browse. But with my FIDO sim card inserted it would black out within 0.2 seconds. To the point it needed to be plugged in just to turn it on. I m not entirely sure what kind of science is unlocked phones. Does it lose performance capabilities access to features as it was meant to operate to it s full extent with the carrier it was originally locked to If you know someone who does might be able to benefit from this phone you can buy it for them.
