Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to Successfully manage projects > 1MM completed within 10% of final schedule and budget estimate and on track to achieve business value. Translates business requirements into an actionable project plans and milestones using industry standard project management methodology such as PMI or CPDEP for IT . ( CPDEP for IT is a proprietary methodology to Chevron and its use will be required within our environment). Guides the project team through the CPDEP for IT processes and ensures that CPDEP for IT principals are adhered to. Responsible for day-to-day management of the project which includes successful planning and execution as well as scope budget issue and risk management. Responsible for creation of project budget estimates based off of project schedule and available resources. Responsible for Budget reconciliation of budgeted vs. actual reported by financial systems and correcting any discrepancies. Provides leadership and manages multiple relationships (e.g. customers stakeholders vendors etc.) for projects Ensures that all reporting to stakeholders and management is complete and accurate. Works closely with the decision executive endorser and project team to develop and execute the project plan and budget. Committed to the development of others by mentoring coaching teaching by sharing best practices with other project managers on lessons learned from other projects and project management techniques. Required Qualifications Project Mgmt Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience with at least 2 years in an IT environment Successfully delivered IT infrastructure projects > 1MM utilizing Project Management Methodology framework Proven leadership capability in a matrix project environment. Experience with managing multiple projects concurrently. Strong collaboration and communications skills with business unit leadership level. Ensures alignment with IA business and strategic plans Communicates business plans. Partners with Asset Management and key stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are consistent with the schedule technology and financial expectations. Strong Stakeholder Management Risk Management Scope Management Resource Management Quality Management. Understanding of Behavioral Change Management requirements for successful deployments Ensures compliance with applicable laws corporate policies and procedures (including policies 530 564 and 575) by company and contract personnel. Works safely reinforces the safety habits of all employees and contractors in team Ability to develop analyze and interpret project metrics (Earned Value Net Present Value Probabilistic Schedule Cost S Curve). Ability to work well in environments with varying amount of process requirements and able to recognize what is required vs. where rigor can be applied. Technical Knowledge of IT Infrastructure concepts and terminology. Deployed technology solutions to both IT professionals as well as non-technical end-users. Experience in global multi-cultural virtual environments. Proficient in MS Project Office and SharePoint. Other Requirements and Skills Previous history in a technical capacity. Successfully deployed global IT infrastructure through a phased deployment.
