Collegiate Cheerleading Coach Wanted (Oswego NY)

The State University of New York at Oswego s cheerleading team is looking for a coach for the 2014-2015 season. The Cheerleading team at SUNY Oswego is a Division II Small-Coed team. In the past four years we have competed at NCA collegiate nationals in Daytona Beach Florida on top of competing at competitions throughout New York state. The main purpose of our team is to provide leadership in generating school spirit surrounding the SUNY Oswego s intercollegiate athletic teams. Our team practices three times a week we cheer at the men and women s basketball games here at Oswego and we compete in local competitions as well as competing on a national level. Qualifications -AACCA certified and must know the safety guidelines and understand their responsibility to strictly adhere to these guidelines -Have background and experience in cheerleading -Know the National Cheerleading Association rules and guidelines for collegiate cheerleading The coach will be responsible for -providing their own transportation to and from practice -collaborating with the captain on all performances and or exhibitions -traveling with the team to competitions outside of the school For more information please contact Xavier Robles
