Director of Security Operations

Director of Security Operations Description Point 2 Point Global Security Inc. ( P2P ) an industry leading provider of security services is looking for a dynamic leader with specialization in physical and critical infrastructure security operations. The Director of Operations will be directly involved in supporting implementation of new and existing client security operations to ensure compliance with each client s policies procedures as well as applicable regulatory guidelines. This position will be accountable for hands on functional oversight of security based operations at client multi-state sites including corporate offices production facilities and remote critical infrastructure locations. The Director of Operations will develop operational standardized security processes to monitor and maintain KPI s for various clients. The Director of Operations role will interface with business development in servicing existing customer needs along with responding to new business opportunities. Key Accountabilities Functional oversight of operations to ensure that customer requirements and objectives are met. Review and evaluate account profitability performance and KPI s and establish plans to address any budgetary or operational shortfalls. Plan and identify the appropriate resources (staffing training equipment and systems) to ensure contractual compliance and delivery of quality services that meet and exceed the customer s expectations. Where there are resource gaps or process inefficiencies or compliance issues the candidate must have the ability to quickly and efficiently close the gaps and deliver the resources. Work collaboratively with employees Business Development Operations Management and Human Resources (HR) to ensure efficient operations. Support customer relationships and ensure that customer service and operational levels within the sector are maintained. Work with HR to drive structured training licensing programs specific to the needs of operations as well as develop a pipeline of talented resource candidates. Strategic responsibility for market analysis followed by design and execution of strategy to promote the growth of the business through operational efficiencies. Collaborate with Business Development to evaluate provide guidance and input and may be directly involved in negotiations for key contract opportunities. Identify potential business opportunities within the industry assess RFP potentials and develop draft RFP responses with partnership of leadership team. Qualifications Only candidates who meet the following minimum qualifications will be considered Must have a minimum of 5 years in managing upward of 10 000 weekly hours of scheduled Security Guard staffing. Must have proven experience in managing scheduling large volumes of Guard Staffing across North America. 10 years of Security industry managing nationwide multi-state guard services. Bachelor s Degree in Criminal Justice Business or equivalent related experience or 10 years of physical security industry experience required. In-depth experience in security operations with extensive experience in financial management of a department station or region (P & L balance sheet forecasting and budgets) required. Process oriented experience with multi-location operations - experience with implementing changes in various locations and jurisdictions required. RFP assessment and writing expertise required. Strong team management and leadership skills experience required. Experience in development and delivery of training programs to all levels of the organization. Security Law enforcement and or military experience required. CPP or PSB preferred. Must have strong verbal written communication. Outstanding interpersonal skills to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds required. Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations required. Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals required. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public required. Travel is required approximately 60% - 80% of the time in this position
