MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A FBI CRIMINAL FBI FINGERPRINT & CHILD REPORT RECORD. (1) Administering finances personnel maintenance meal planning and preparation and transportation.(2) Administering the facility s program objectives and activities.(3) Designating a staff person who is responsible for compliance with this chapter in the Director s absence.(4) Coordinating and planning daily activities with the group supervisors or with the assistant group supervisors in school-age program.(5) Overall program planning.(6) Written evaluation of staff persons on a regular basis a minimum of one evaluation every 12 months.Responsible for operating a child care center for children in a manner that contributes to their growth and development and is consistent with the goals and philosophy of Lil World of Angels DayCare. Supervises center staff including teachers and auxiliary personnel. Oversees program in accordance with the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare regulations.JOB REQUIREMENTSA director shall have attained one of the following qualification levels A bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education child development special education elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.A bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university including 30 credit hours in early childhood education child development special education elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.An associate s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education child development special education elementary education or the human services field and 1 years of experience with children.An associate s degree from an accredited college or university including 30 credit hours in early childhood education child development special education elementary education or the human services field and 1 years of experience with children. Minimum of one year experience supervisory experience in a child care environment preferred Bi-lingual (Spanish) Ability to multi task Proficient in MS Office products. Excellent verbal and written communication skills MUST be a team player. Marketing experience a plus but not required. Knowledge of PA Stars & DPW regulations. Able to obtain necessary clearances physicals etc. Willing to obtain Center Director Certification (if necessary) within two (2) years of hire. Able to lift 30 pounds
