Appliance Technician - Job ID 2146Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Appliance Technician in beautiful Kamloops BC.Specializing in Ovens Stoves Ranges Dishwashers Fridges and other small appliances Our client is a local business specializing in major appliance electrical and electronic repair needs. Servicing Kamloops and the surrounding area for almost 100 years -- they are growing and looking to build their Technician team.Full-Time or Part-Time Position for that right fit Retired Perfect opportunity to work part-time in the industry you love.Service Territory will include Kamloops Savona Logan Lake and Barriere. This position is responsible for being the face of our client to home owners and business clients demonstrating enthusiasm while delivering superior customer service to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction Company and Position perks include Company truck Competitive wages bonus structure Benefits MSP Life Insurance Policy and a Positive working Environment.Responsibilities Provide customers with courteous and professional in-home servicing of major appliances Conduct appliance assessments to determine the issue Resolve installation issues Estimate the costs of repairs replacements Order parts and ensure inventory supply levels are sufficiently maintained Communicate with customers regarding details of the assessment and servicing required Provide information to assist customers in obtaining optimum performance of their products Complete all service documentation describing repairs in detail and reporting identification of repaired stock Prepare reports Requirements Formal Technical Training Must have an ozone depletion ticket (ODC) for handling o f refrigerants. 5-10 years previous experience in major appliance service - comfortable working on domestic refrigeration as well as ranges dishwashers washers dryers microwave ovens.
