Brokerage firm for media buying and distribution in a 72.8 billion industry hiring a Video Editor Looking to work in a fast paced creative environment Want to work with people who love what they do Want to be involved in a cutting edge and groundbreaking start-up This is a unique opportunity to join a company already with investment subsidiary from a 4th generation start-up. Seeking part-time services of a professional responsible video editor with the ability to assist our production team in the management of various stages of video production including script writing postproduction and social media. This position will be part of a team of five persons involved in a lean start-up business model so this position will potentially turn into a full-time job in the next four months. Compensation will be based on level of expertise. Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned) Shoot footage for three 3-5 minute videos weekly. Edit raw video select music and develop graphics in order to create finished videos for publishing. Deliver timely and effective updates to team members regarding specific video projects. The Ideal Candidate will possess the following qualification qualities In-depth knowledge of video editing Proficient in visual story telling as well as script writing for video as demonstrated through sample video submissions In-depth knowledge of video equipment production and editing processes. Work well within a team and individually Conduct himself herself in a professional manner Special consideration given for the following Experience with Final Cut Pro 7 or Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis on Premier and After Effects Education and or Experience Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience Own equipment software Please reply to the above mentioned email address with Video Editor in the Subject line.
