Power & Recovery Manager - Job ID 2227Position OverviewReporting to the General Manager the Power & Recovery Manager will be a key member of the leadership team involved in re-commissioning and start-up of the mill as well as responsible for ongoing operation and maintenance of the Power and Recovery Plant.Responsibilities This site will be an integrated facility including a log handling yard wood room and dissolving pulp mill including a self-contained steam plant with hog boiler recovery boiler gas oil boiler and electrical generation. Re-commissioning of the mill presents a unique opportunity to be involved with construction and start-up activities including input into the future work systems of the new facility.Requirements The ideal candidate for the role of Power & Recovery Manager must have knowledge of Business gained through several years of manufacturing experience in a kraft recovery pulping process. The individual should be future oriented capable of challenging the status quo by developing plans for long term improvements in areas of safety technology utilization including process reliability work system evolution and cost reduction.The ideal candidate must have excellent leadership and communication skills as well as a strong ability to build and develop relationships with proven knowledge and experience in problem solving.
