Prepare and review daily monthly and annual reports and reconciliations including daily reconciliation of accounts payable processing. Correspond daily with campus departments and external agencies in the resolution of problems. Interpret State Statutes and University Policies and Procedures and effectively communicate compliance issues to departments. Conduct training seminars for campus. Supervise individuals within the department s accounts payable processing to include pre-audit and payment of expenditures and encumbrance processing. Prepare various year-end working papers and schedules. Other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications Bachelor degree in accounting or related field. Practical application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Position requires a self -motivated individual with demonstrated analytical skills proficiency in financial accounting principles and techniques and a high level of communication skills both oral and written.
