Come Build with us JV Driver is currently seeking Quality Managers to join our dynamic team Job Description The QC QA Manager is responsible to manage and implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs to promote quality consciousness among all employees and to successfully coordinate the activities of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions of the organization. The position reports to the Corporate Quality Manager. For over 20 years we have been creating value for our clients and opportunity for our people by challenging the status quo looking after each other having fun and building great things together Skills and Experience Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organisation Manage development and implementation of the Quality Management System for construction execution documentation and operations activities including Involve staff of all relevant disciplines and drive the group to plan formulate and agree to comprehensive quality procedures Establish standards of service for customers or clients Identify relevant quality-related training needs Establish and maintain controls and documentation Set QA compliance objectives and ensure targets are achieved Establish requirements and help assess supplier and subcontractor quality programs Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation Liaise with client auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with specifications Provide functional leadership of quality personnel throughout the company including the Quality Control departments of the Projects. Develop corporate product quality standards specifications parameters analytical testing methods and manufacturing methods to comply with regulatory requirements Assume full responsibility for system releases approval of master documents documentation of quality investigations etc. or delegate such responsibility to another designated Quality person Quality Assurance Validation activities quality audits and quality training to ensure Compliance with quality standards both by owner specifications and code requirements Efficacy of analytical testing methods Soundness of manufacturing practices Efficient application of machinery plant and procedures in order to avoid mix-ups with materials packaging components and batch identifications Quality consciousness of all employees at the site Analyze quality deviations and initiate appropriate remedial actions. Requirements and Qualifications 178.2 Level 2 or 3 certification written to B31.3 and or B31.1 Experience working within Alberta s pressure equipment safety system Several years of experience as a qualified tradesperson or professional in a relevant discipline Five or more years of experience working within an Industrial Construction environment Five or more years of experience performing Quality Management at the project and corporate level Computer skills including Microsoft Office package Strong coordination organization and written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Compensation Benefits Company paid RRSP Contributions JVD University and other training opportunities Excellent work life balance This is a permanent position that will be project based.
