Their role is to develop budgets for a wide variety of commercial construction projects including new builds refurbishments re-clads and fit-outs.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Build Cost Budget estimates from preliminary documents - Manage the build cost budget as the design phase progresses - Prepare detailed estimates from tender consent documents Form tender strategies with the bid team Build and maintain a base of subcontractors and suppliers Request & receive subcontractor and supplier quotations Prepare schedule of quantities Estimate the cost of retained work packages from first principles Analyze subcontractor and supplier estimates Review conditions of contract Prepare and manage risk registers Prepare competitive tender submissionSKILLS & EXPERIENCE - 5-6 years commercial construction experience as an Estimator may also include some Quantity Surveying - National Diploma in Quantity Surveying or other relevant tertiary qualification - CostX (training provided)BENEFITS - Work with an ambitious team - Health Life Trauma & Income Protection Insurance (after 6 months) - Exciting projectsEMAIL an up to date CV to lydia.svrpower(at)gmail.com CALL 44(0)1229 343791 or 44(0)1229 480 232 TEXT 44(0)447547 979921 or 44(0)447842 773 077Follow us on Snapchat svrpower2018 Instagram SVR Power Limited
