1970 GMC Shortbed
I bought this guy a few months ago hoping to restore it. I did some mechanical work and simply lost interest. It s specs are as follows.-Rebuilt engine from a 1972 chevy.-Rebuilt original transmission.-Sidestep Bed-New Battery.-Brand new tires.-Automatic Transmission (original)-New starter-Little or no Body Damage (not even a dent )-Little to no rust (the truck was kept in Arizona for most of its life)Mechanically this truck is as solid as they come and has many many happy miles ahead of her. The problems with this truck are merely cosmetic (aka needs a paint job and some minor interior work). There are some minor issues with this vehicle but they re fairly standard for a vehicle this age.-Fuel gauge broken. -Some rust in the gas tank.-Carburetor is original and therefore takes a little bit of coaxing to get going on cold days. -The odometer doesn t go into the 100 000 s.
