Operations Manager

If you or someone you know is a very talented creative and energetic Operations Manager who has a solid background in warehouse operations production quality and inventory control and is experienced with ISO regulations WMS & ERP systems then we want to talk The Operations Manager manages the following departments Purchasing Warehouse Production and Quality and Inventory Control. This position also has general oversight of managing our Englewood facility ensuring the security safety and basic maintenance of the office. The Operations Manager will increase operational efficiency and coordinate cross-functional efforts to drive revenue. The primary responsibility of the Operations Manager is to lead a group of supervisors and warehouse employees in operating a safe and efficient fulfillment center. This position will coordinate all planning and production activities and will manage cross-functional efforts with purchasing quality control and inventory control. Management of personnel and operations of the Purchasing Department which includes overseeing all purchasing decisions developing and monitoring policies managing vendors negotiating contracts sourcing products and creating production forecasts from sales data. Management of personnel operations and safety training for Warehouse and Production Department which includes ensuring all SOPs are followed performing equipment maintenance and assisting warehouse associates with shipping receiving and pulling products. Management of Quality and Inventory Control personnel and processes which includes performing QA QC inspections and working with customer service department to monitor service logs and correct issues. Overall management of Englewood facility including building security safety and maintenance Other duties as required Knowledge of ISO standards and best practices Ability to train motivate retain and discipline employees Self-driven with the ability to prioritize and organize workload in a way that supports HOL s business objectives Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety training Thorough understanding of import and export documentation specifically with hazardous materials Proficiency with MS Office programs and UPS WorldShip Knowledge of Order Management Systems Warehouse Management Systems and ERPs Ability to operate a forklift run bagging equipment and work with maintenance tools Bachelor s degree in supply chain logistics or other related business degree strongly preferred. Associate s required. 7 years of international supply chain and logistics experience 5 years warehouse management experience including daily oversight of quality and inventory control
