From Mr. Johns Kitchen we sell New Orleans style Gumbo for your parties gatherings of any kind. This is the highest quality gumbo made with the freshest ingredients. Our roux is made with the Louisiana trinity green peppers onions and celery and add to that fresh okra which is the key ingredient of any and all gumbo. We sell by the gallon and prices vary according to the particular featured ingredients. Our top seller is SEAFOOD GUMBO consisting of the above roux plus generous portions of lump crab meat shrimp and Andouille sausage. This is of course the most expensive. One gallon of SEAFOOD GUMBO sells for 60 but keep in mind that will serve an average of 15 people. That comes to 4 per serving with you providing the rice. Add another 10 for the rice. We offer chicken and sausage gumbo sausage OR chicken or other combinations. Prices fall with two or more gallons. Our Red Beans and Rice is made with the Louisiana vegetable trinity beef and sausage. This is a real crowd pleaser and is the most popular tail-gate dish along the gulf coast. Cost 45 and serves 15 people. Add 10 for rice. By the way you never cook the rice with the gumbo or beans. Rice first gumbo or red beans on top. Prices fall with two or more gallons. By the way knowing that many people shy away from very spicy foods I leave out the heat. Just put a bottle of Tabasco or Louisiana hot sauce out and let each person add their own.
