Colorado Mountain Dog Puppies

The Colorado Mountain Dog is a specially designed cross between the Great Pyrenees from the Pyrenees mountain range in Spain and the Anatolian Shepherd from Turkey that captures the best traits of both breeds while eliminating the genetic health problems inherent in the Pyrenees like Hip Dysplasia. Our adult male dog is from Colorado but our 2 females are from a ranch in Texas and the puppies are all 3rd generation now which means they are purebred Colorado Mountain Dogs. We breed these dogs to protect our livestock and property at Yellow Pine Ranch Alpacas and make excess puppies available to the public. We have 2 female and 2 male puppies left that were born on August 15th are weaned and eating solid food have their first shots and worming and are in excellent health. They have all been living with Alpacas Chickens Ducks Geese Cattle Pigs and of course barn cats. We learned the hard way that there are 2 things which are absolutely necessary on a ranch in Colorado barn cats to keep the mouse population in check and guard dogs to keep the predators away. We have both now and you are welcomed to come see the puppies and both parents at the ranch and see how they are used as working guard dogs protecting our animals and property.
