MM Hope House Inc. 466 Simpson Street McDonough Ga. 30253 www.mmhopehouse.org 404-454-9854 McDonough- NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION starts a fundraising campaign to help with renovation of their facility and to enhance their programs. The Founder of MM Hope House Inc. relocated in January 2013 to the city of Henry County to serve the participants of this community. She relocated to make 466 Simpson Street McDonough Georgia their new home. Marlene Lemons who is the founder of MM Hope House is hoping to make MM Hope House a one stop shop for the community where people can come for emergency assistance and other needs without running all over town. The goal of this campaign is to raise 25 000. The campaign will go throughout the year of 2014 ending in the month of November 30 2014. Some people have asked us how they could help after thinking about it I decided that the campaign will be a great way for our supporters to help us. Since moving into our new facility MM Hope House volunteers has renovated the building putting in new floors plumbing sheetrock new doors new light fixtures and painted every room. Although we are very proud of our accomplishments there is still much work to be done on our facility. We are also in need of books and testing materials for our students. MM Hope House had its grand opening June 1st 2013. We begin offering emergency assistance to low-income individuals and families which includes food clothing referrals and toiletries. (Please be aware that we do not offer monetary assistance and no-walk INS by appointments only). We have launched our Path to Success program providing GED Prep classes on Tuesday & Thursday nights from 6 30pm to 8 30pm led by Ms. Winifred Davis (GED Director) to anyone who do not have their high school diplomas starting from ages 16 and up. There is a onetime registration fee of 35 all classes are free. Since being in McDonough we have partnered with Sam s Club 4804 McDonough Probate Court National Christina Foundation and WellsCare of Georgia. We are working to partner with other businesses and corporations that we might be able to eventually create new jobs to assist in making the people of our community proud and productive citizens of Henry County. To show our appreciation MM Hope House is offering thank you gifts such as T-Shirts pens cups and bags with their custom designed logo all depending on level of support. It is our hope that this campaign exceeds our expectations and yield unimaginable fruit to impact a huge amount of individuals and families. All checks should be made out to MM Hope House Inc.
