Job DescriptionTHIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY ON A 3rd SHIFT (11PM - 7 30AM)SUMMARYThe Machine Operator I is responsible for the operation of the Nitohard Coater to meet customer specifications by following work order instructions machine set up methodology established processes and company policies and procedures.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1. Prepare machines for production by positioning and securing dies stops guides and setting and adjusting controls 2. Prepares equipment for operation by conducting operator inspections performing preventive maintenance checks 3. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions and established procedures troubleshooting breakdowns performing preventive maintenance calling for repairs 4. Collects and records process information per standard operating procedures 5. Performs required tests and or visual inspection to ensure product quality 6. Maintains inventories by accurately recording production information in data base and properly labeling materials 7. Operates fork lift to perform duties of the job Maintain Nitto s License at all times.Must be able to work overtime on weekdays weekends and holidays Mechanical aptitude a plus. Experience in a factory and or manufacturing environment a plus.
