Nelhsun Elder Care is looking for caring and compassionate Care Givers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout the following counties HILLSBOROUGH MANATEE PASCO PINELLAS SARASOTA. Functions Performs homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to) vacuuming dusting sweeping or mopping floors doing dishes changing bed linens doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms. Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions. May shop for groceries. Provides companionship for the client. This includes accompanying client on walks trips to social recreational activities assistance with hobbies and more. Medication and appointment reminders Requirements Ability to help seniors in their residence with dignity and respect Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and professional manner Complete a criminal background check DMV check and drug screen Possess a valid driver s license social security card and a valid auto insurance Be fingerprinted through ACHA at a cost to you of 76.50. This amount will be refunded after completing 300 hours of blameless service. We will register you if needed. Qualifications High school graduate or G.E.D certificate preferred. Ability to read write speak and understand English as needed for the job. Possess a valid driver s license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job. Possible Special Bonus for a second or third language.
