Quality Inspector for Heat Treating Company

Responsible for inspecting parts to meet customer specifications an Assisting Quality manager in related tasks with limited supervision. Using Case Hardness Brinell and Rockwell. 1. High School Diploma or Equivalent. 2. Must have 2 5 years experience in heat treating or related experience. 3. Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally orally and in writing with internal and external customers. 4. Must have working knowledge of all testing equipment and terminology. 5. Able to read and interpret specifications be detailed oriented and possess manual dexterity. 6. Totally trustworthy and set a good example to subordinates and maintain a positive company image. 7. Able to work overtime and on any shift including weekends. 8. Ability to report to work on time follow directions interact effectively with co-workers understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism. 9. Able to become and maintain certified forklift operator status. 10. Able to stand for extended period of time and be able to lift 50 lbs. 11. Perform calibration of all testing equipment accurately and on schedule. 12. Performs audits weekly probes survey s. etc. as needed or defined by procedure and or schedule. 13. Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
