I found a gold band on the ground on Jayhawk Blvd after we won the 1988 championship. The inscription says October 26 1896 plus two names. I have no idea why I held on to it except I was young and selfish. But my daughter just took it out of my jewelry box and it dawned on me that now with the internet I may be able to find the owner If you can tell me the two names also inscribed on the ring it s yours
