NOTE TO ABSENTEE PROPERTY OWNERS The San Antonio City Council voted in favor of an Absentee Owner Property Registration ordinance. The new ordinance will go into effect January 1 2014. Under this ordinance property owners who live outside Bexar County and have at least two code violations in a calendar year will be required to register with the City pay a 50 fine and designate a local agent to act on their behalf.
