And enchanted is how you will feel the moment you get your first look at the beautiful Highlands Resort at Verde Ridge. The surrounding area presents the natural wonders of the tranquil and magnificent Red Rock Country . Inside you will be warmly welcomed with a hospitality and professionalism befitting a Gold Crown Resort . The Resort features studios and one and two-bedroom suites. All one and two bedroom suites are complete with full kitchens jacuzzi tub air conditioning and updated electronics. Relax in the glow of a desert sun by the beautiful pool and spa area sit with friends and family by the lovely outdoor fireplace as you watch the gorgeous sunsets. You may also enjoy the luxury of and adult Lagoon Spa that overlooks the nineth hole of the golf course. The resort also offers a free laundry room game room for the kids and a state of the art fitness room. After reading some reviews we were a bit concerned about the location of some buildings regarding highway noise. I voiced this concern upon checking in and Joe at the front desk suggested I take a look at the accommodations before committing to the unit. We were most pleased with the unit mid week maid services and overall resort staff especially Joe at the front desk and Rebecca the Concierge. The welcome breakfast was delicious and many local vendors spoke highlighting the many activities in the Sedona area. The resort is located adjacent to a beautiful golf course and discounts are applied for guests of the resort. One of our favorite restaurants was Nic s in Cottonwood a short drive from the resort. We loved the Pink Jeep excursion and experienced the sunset on the red rocks. Not to be missed is a trip to Jerome Montezuma s Castle and Red Rock State Park. In closing I must compliment the staff at Highlands Resort for their gracious hospitality and I look forward to a return visit next year.
