1998 Ford Explorer XLT
I have a Ford Explorer 1998 with a V-6 and automatic. I have just purchased a much newer Mountaineer with a V8 to pull my new boat. The vehicle has a leather interior a moon roof and all power. The transmission was replaced this spring for 2100. The water pump and alternator was replacecd this spring. The battery was replaced in March of this year. There is a 1 7 8 ball on the back. New front tires were replaced in June of this year. The rear tires have 2 replaced along with the original Cooper. New oil has been replaced every 5-6000miles. To get certified you neen a new O2 sensor and do some minor work to the exhaust pipe and minor rust however the exhaust was replaced last fall.
