Project Manager Quesnel BC - Job ID 2150Position Overview Our Client is the Canadian Leader in providing corrosion resistant process vessels for industries such as Pulp & Paper Mining Minerals Processing Utilities And other industries using corrosive process chemicals Our Client s services also include structural analysis and conditional surveys of existing facilities and infrastructures. Materials include concrete steel ceramic brick resinous linings and thermoplastics. Head Offices are located in Montreal Quebec with the Quesnel BC Branch servicing customers from Newfoundland to British Columbia. Throughout their 25 year history our client has prided itself on being a Quality Safe and Total Service company and is envisioning expansion into the U.S. Market in the near future.. Our Client has an immediate opening for a Project Manager to administer projects based in British Columbia Alberta and Saskatchewan as well as to assist the field work crews while working in close contact with Head Office. Responsibilities Sales and representation to the local customer base Preliminary design specifications Preparation and follow up of proposals Planning management and execution of projects including job specifications materials procurement construction schedule and budget on-site Quality Control tech support of tradespeople progress reporting negotiate contract revisions invoicing support and conditional surverys of process equipment and infrastructures Final report presentation and recommendations for future work and budgetary requirement Requirements Undergraduate Civil Engineer Degree Good written (technical non-technical) and communication skills Capable and willing to work with all levels of the organization Enjoys working in an Industrial environment Willingness to adhere to high Health Safety and Environmental Standards Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft Office products Willingness to relocate and travel extensively Knowledge of the French language an asset Field construction experience an asset Client Overview Our Client offers a unique opportunity to grow in a small company environment and this position would be suitable for an individual with an independent nature.
