Ahern Rentals is looking for a Finance Analyst who will report to the VP of Finance to ensure correct and timely month-end reconciliations and reporting are completed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monthly quarterly and annual preparation of lease and asset audit reports Preparation of leases analysis for proper accounting treatment Document reconciliations Preparation of asset upload files for accounting reports Reconciliation of asset logs for 100% match accounting Preparation reconciliation of asset location personal property tax reports Report management and reconciliation Lease end of term administrative processing reconciliation Working with confidential nature of documents in a secure manner Assisting in equipment audits from the various lenders Perform accurate Data Entry and reconciliations by verifying supporting documents Ability to Create and edit Excel spreadsheets reports charts and pivot tables Ability to coordinate between multiple departments within the organization Other responsibilities as assigned based on pending finance projects Coordinating with different departments under direction of VP Other responsibilities as assigned by management Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. Qualifications Advanced level of proficiency with MS Excel MS Word and Outlook Experience with AS400 Wynne Rentalman Infinium OnBase Tagetik and Domo helpful Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures including but not limited to US GAAP Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end year end close process Ideal candidate should be very organized with an outstanding attention to detail Must be able to multi-task efficiently and independently and be driven to meet deadlines Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred 3 to 5 years experience in the Finance Industry Must be able to read write and speak English proficiently Must be able to pass drug test and background check Must be able to provide Motor Vehicle Record at time of job offer (current within 15 days) Incentive Package includes Competitive pay Paid Vacation Paid Holidays 401k Retirement Plan Benefits after the first of the month following 60 days will include Medical Dental Vision & Life Supplemental Insurance Options Available Employee and Customer Incentive Bonus Programs Apply www.ahern.com careers
