Mechanical Design Engineer

Saturn Machine & Welding Inc. known in the industry as the leader in Automated Coke Oven Equipment seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer for its manufacturing facility in Sturgis KY. This individual will be involved in the design detailing and troubleshooting of large mechanical components and complex assemblies. This is a direct-hire opportunity with an established company. Responsibilities Designing and detailing of mechanical components and complex assemblies using SolidWorks 2013. Prioritizing tasks based on a given timeline and willing to work to meet required project deadlines. Involvement in or management of multiple projects at one time. Requirements P.E. License BSME Technical Degree or related work experience. 5-10 years of mechanical design experience preferably in the machine design industry. Strong mechanical background. Demonstrated knowledge of machine components structural mechanical systems conveyor systems and sheet metal. Must be proficient with SolidWorks 3D CAD software--SolidWorks 2013 highly desired. Use of Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word are required.
