Material HandlerJob Description The Material Handler will be responsible for filling all orders that the warehouse receives. Responsibilities will include Stacks and stores merchandise in designated areas using a forklift clamp push-pull or other powered equipment Pulls and prepares products for shipment Ensures that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped Performs picking duties in an efficient manner meeting customer service standards Moves product from staging and or storage areas into trailers Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods Maintains appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security Job Requirements Three years of previous warehouse experience is a plus Automated or RF (Radio Frequency) warehouse experience beneficial Must have effective communication skills Ability to operate material handling equipment (order pickers reach trucks forklifts) Ability to work standing for long periods of time with frequent stooping or bending Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to be detail oriented and quality focused Ability to be self-motivated Ability to work in a team oriented environment Ability to work in a fast paced distribution environment while meeting established distribution quotas and standards Must be flexible to work overtime as needed
