have a 1949 Ford Truck tailgate stock removed from my truck.. 120.00 and a gas tank 125.00 ..or was now 100.00 or offers. The tank was cleaned and hammertoned black. The tailgate was worked over by a body guy i was starting to get too much labor cost on the rework so we set it aside and replaced with after market tailgate. Still needs some detail sanding and primer close to being done. I do like the old tailgate vs the aftermarket. it is doubled walled vs the single new stamped out tailgate. I would like to see someone restoring a old truck use these.
