Litigation Paralegal

Litigation Paralegal The candidate will follow the ethical requirements as set forth by the Rules of Professional Conduct of the State. Will assist in the preparation of complaints and answers notices affidavits motions and petitions as well as a variety of other litigation documents. Collect and organize research for attorneys use including reports opinions and case law as well as other information related to the matter. Assist with the collection processing and review of electronic discovery. Prepare chronologies and witness lists. Maintain and update document databases using the latest available and most efficient technology and remaining proficient in the use of such databases and technology. Coordinate and prepare documents for production including the creation of privilege logs and databases. Assist attorneys in the preparation for depositions including the preparation of witness files. Maintain deposition and exhibit files and indexes. Assist attorneys and coordinate the paper and or e-filing of pleadings and court documents. Organize and maintain case files pleadings attorney notebooks and other documents. Summarize articles reports witness statements and depositions. Maintain accurate time records. Must have a Bachelor s Degree. Must have interpersonal skills necessary to liaise between attorneys clients and or other support staff and effectively communicate expectations.
