The REMstar Pro with sits on a heated humidifier base and with a coupler adjoins the water chamber for use. The CPAP and humidifier do not click together rather the CPAP has two holes on the bottom that goes into two round pags that are on the heated humidifier base. The power supplied to the humidifier is by plugging in the short cord from the humidifier into the CPAP machine. The AC Power cord is to plug into the base of the humidifier which will allow for both devices to have power.
